Essential oils make everyday life easier in all sorts of different way like it supports healthy sleep habits. The oils come in a variety of forms, from body oils to liquids, but their main purpose is to improve an individual’s well-being through aromatherapy.  There’s pretty much an essential oil for everything these days. You can even find blends that help with specific things, like sleep or anxiety, as there are various essential oils that are good for each thing. Buying essential oils depends on numerous reasons and factors which we are going to discuss in this article. First let’s know what essential oils are.

Essential oils are all-natural, highly concentrated liquids that are obtained through direct extraction of roots, resin, nuts, leaves, flower, bark or fruits of plants and trees. The extraction method differs based on the plant that it’s extracted from. On average, essential oils are about 75 times more potent than if the herbs were dried and used that way.

Lavender Essential Oil

It’s this popular aroma that has made the plant a classic scent for perfumes, soaps, fresheners, and beauty products.  It is well-known for its relaxing and calming effects on the body. The reason people love this oil most as is its safe to use on all ages–babies through adults. Lavender is good to use for congestion or allergy season, it helps with sinus drainage. In addition to supporting healthy sleep, this oil is also a great way to freshen up laundry and fragrance your home without harsh chemicals or synthetics.

Peppermint Essential Oil

How to use essential oils:

Aromatically:  You can get the benefits of essential oils by diffusing their aroma! Through a diffuser you’re able to fill the air with the essence of that essential oil allowing it to get into your lungs and therefore you’re blood stream. Be sure to look at your diffuser to get the correct water to oil ratio.

Topically: You can apply essential oils to most parts of your body, but you want to be cautious of your most sensitive skin. Place on your head (around the crown), behind ears, wrists or on the vita flex points. If the aroma of an oil is too strong, or your skin is sensitive, you can dilute it with a carrier oil.

Internally: – you can also start using them internally by ingesting them. Adding essential oils to recipes is a great way to get potent and unique flavors into your favorite foods
